hello everyone
hey everybody i am a new member i have not written anything here yet until now have just been reading most of the pasts post here , very entertaining and informative. well i have a question , i just reset my computer , i put the key in the ignition on the acc position without turning the car on i unhooked the battery for 10 minutes then hooked it up again, when i turned on the car my rpms were going crazy it was reving from 1000 rpms to 2000 rpms back and forth is this normal will the computer program itself or do i have a problem thanks in advance for any help i get

Resetting the PCM will make the idle grumpy until it relearns. This method doesn't involve unhooking the battery:
Turn key on, don't start car
Pull PCM BATT and PCM IGN fuses in engine compartment
Wait 5-10 min
Turn ignition off
Replace fuses
