    new TA **pics**

    Hello LS1.com!

I'm a long time reader of LS1.com, and I can finally join the LS1 club. I've driven a POS firebird for the last 5 years, and could finally afford my dream car. I just bought this 1998 A4 TA today.

    Mods already on the car:
    adjustable borla catback
ORY ( not sure if he put headers on as well... need to check )
    lid
    lowering springs/shocks/struts

    Mods in the immediate future:
    12-bolt rear end
    ram air hood
    LS6 intake
and all of the free mods when time permits

    Now for the good stuff:

... not bad for a 10 year old car!

I already had a chance to show off. A Ford Lightning challenged me on the way home from picking it up. He didn't stand a chance. I love this car.

I think you're right. After playing around with it a bit, I think I'm going to hold off on my ram air hood and get a stall instead. Nobody's gunna see the front of my car for more than a second anyway.

i dont alot/anything about how they get the torque manipulation ect..but a stall is part of the driveline on a automatic car..it pretty much makes the tranny start to move the car once it gets to its rated rpm (aka 3600. 3400, 2800) so what it does is alows the car to be further into the powerband..so you have more power once the car gets to move. its great for the autos. it can drop up to .5 off your e/t. um also the stalls "lock up" at 45mph...so its like the stall doesn't exist...i think i hit the jist of it but i could and am probably wrong so sorry if i am guys
