    wheel controls?

    Just wondering if any one knows if the 98 Z28's had an option for stearing wheel controls for the monsoon head unit. I would like to have it but not going to buy a wheel unless it will work. thanks for your help.

    I do not believe the 1998 Camaro came with steering wheel controls as an option.

    After doing a little research, it looks like Chevrolet started putting the steering wheel with radio controls on the 2000 model cars. Neither the 1998 or 1999 models were available with them.

    No problem. Sorry I wasn't able to give you better news. I guess you could look into a salvage yard for a steering wheel from there?

    so can you put steering wheel controls on a '98 z28 even tho it was not offered? and if so, what would you need? just the wheel??

    I'm not 100% sure but I'd bet you would need the wheel, wiring and such.
