looking at new computer

well it all depends on what you choose to bundle with it, its pretty much a build your own with name brand components
i have an AMD Turion processor on my lap top, i think its a good company

I have no experience with that vendor, however from what I have seen lately (and I have been in IT for 18 years), you want 2G of ram, video card (not on board), 10/100/1000 ethernet (not on board), and a nice big hard drive (250mb and up).
Beyond that is is specifications, software, and what you want to do that will determine how happy you are long term with your purchase.
I am adding a second gig to my old P4 3.2G pc to better run Vista Ultimate. I have a mediorce video card and a mediocre sound card but I am not a gamer so all is good.2002 Street ET Champion New England Dragway
