How much PSI will a stock bottom end handle ?
Hey everyone, I just bought a Vortech V-9, G-Trim for my 1998 SS Camaro. I was wondering how much PSI I can go with before I start blowing things on my stock bottom end ? THanks

I have the same blower on my 98 SS coupe. From what I have been told an read on this board 6psi without cooler an 8psi with cooler. I have the 2.95 pulley on my car right now with a cooler. Whatever you do get someone to dyno tune the car for you it will make the world of difference. Tman has the same setup on his car. Enjoy!

usually it depends on the tune, that can literally make or Break your car. with proper tuning and fuel upgrades, you should be able to get up to about 10lbs of boost (intercooled) ... but basicaly the pistons can't handle ne thing upwards of 500rwhp
