Pewter- 2001 Camaro Z28 M6
flowtech exhaust cut out!!
Flowtech exhaust cutout.
Guinee pig- 2001 z28 m6
SOUNDS AMAZING... please note, that the cutout is intalled on a flowmaster catback, w/stock headers and ls6 heads.
I just had it installed last night and havent put the cap on yet. The cutout sounds real nice and mean, with the occasional back pressure pop. Its not too loud
like you think it would be. It definitely creates some vibration under the car but it sounds mean and is worth it.
Since I drive an M6 there is more interior drone in high gears at low rpm but nothing really annoying. As far as rasp, really nothing to comment about.
The only thing about its sound, some will debate it either makes your car sounds built and awesom or some might say its sounds like a white trash POS camaro.
Regardless, I like it and I know many others do.
Performance wise, you can notice alittle pickup in the ass-meter, but it definitely not a major poweradded. It more then likely worth 5 to 10 rwhp, maybe less or more
depending on your setup.
For about $30 and $30 for install (if you cant weld) its definitely fun!!

Thought about putting one on my car but not sure. I have flowmaster catback, but to put either stainless works chambered or a loudmouth system. So if I do that then I will have to remove and reinstall it again. Trying to decide.

I have had the cutout on my car for a cpl years and i love it. first i put the 2otl on and decided it wasnt loud enough so i had a jet-hot coat put on the cutout and had it installed (so it wouldnt rust out). i recommend it
