my dads friend has an 97 camaro 3.8 is what he said anyway he says it is throwing a code and it says number 2 cylinder is not firing. i believe it is sensor but anyone know which one knock sensor? or ???????

you tell me any help would be great. thanks in advance.

could a plug wire be falling off/ torn/ frayed/ etc.

Happened to my friends car before. He had cylinder misfire codes and a plug wire had got all fucked up under the hood.

Check the plugs and wires, I don't believe you'd get that code because of a knock sensor failing

On my car #2 and #5 were comming up like that. I had 2 bad coils. I found that out after changing the battery, spark plugs, wires..and a few other things. The cat. had to be changed too. good thing the dealership still covered that for me. lol.
