T-Tops? I messed up and didn't get Sub Frame Connectors (sfc) first. it will help you're frame stay straight. also, go to www.installuniversity.com, plenty of free mods to do before you start splurging money. what are you going to use the car for? autoX, street? show, or drag? these all will change your car's setup and where you put your cash. also, how far are you going to go with it? are you eventually hoping for forced induction or are you only going to do some light changes?

Convertible. Will drive on the street, probably exclusively. Do hope to install turbo or supercharger in a year or so.

    1. Lid
    2. Suspention upgrade (shocks+connectors)
    3. Strut Tower Bar (will dramatically change cornering)
    4. Intake (give her some air)
    5. Headers (power and rumble adders)
    6. Exhaust
    7. Bolt-ons

That's the order that I would've done things if I could start all over again.

V-6 springs, i hear, are softer and allow for better weight transfer to the rear wheels increasing traction. You wouldn't need an intake as stated above. You have an '02 so you have an LS6 intake already. They are proven performers and are good for up to like 500hp.

    1. Sub-frame Connectors
    2. Lid
    3. Strut Tower Brace.

That'll probably come close to your budget, and those are a good start...

Im pretty sure SAGGIN is talking about the air intake(lid) not the actual manifold

    1. sub-frame connectors 150
    2. Lid 100
    3. cut out 150
    4. Lower control arms 110
    5. Lower control are relocation brackets 65

Skip # 5 if you don't want to go over.

If you have a M6 then
    6. Pro 5.0 (185) with LSS (45) and skip #'s 3, 4 & 5.

There are other good options too. I wouldn't do a STB unless you get bored and want to dress up the engine compartment a little down the road. Theres several things to do before that.

We each have different experiences here, but in a convertible (like mentioned here), I think the STB can make a *huge* difference in cowl shudder/shake, in addition to tightening up the front end in turns... *shrug*

Thats a good list guys. I'm about to start modding my '02 Formula and SFC's have never even ran through my mind but I guess they are a big help.

Who makes good suspension products for our cars? Like a good STB?

No im not going to do it myself, im clueless when it comes down to transmissions. Roughly how much would it be? BTW here is a newbie question what exactly does it do? Like how does it work? Also does it allow you to manuely shift from 1st to 2nd ect. without messing the transmission up or do you still just keep it in D
