    What shock / spring combo?

Right now I have a Eibach prokit with the stock 2002 Z/28 shocks. Looking to upgrade shocks and probably springs also. I need it to be a little higher for clearence issues and I just want something that rides a bit better than it is now.

if you are able to get take-off stock springs, get Koni SA for the front and Bilstein HD for the rear... the Koni SA has 2 perch locations... use the lower one, allowing for a 3/4" drop from stock position. the rear can have the same drop w/ the hose-mod.

SLP put Bistein shocks with eibach springs on my car from the factory. I think they increase the handling from .89 to .91 on the skid. (a noticable difference)

Sam Strano has special springs built from vogtland with better spring rates imo.

You should research them before ordering!

Yea, I am still pretty confused. My shop here suggest Hal QA1s since they are so adjustable, but they do not come with rear springs. So I guess I will probably just throw some stock springs on the back i am not sure. Still thinking about konis though.

wel what are you looking for out of the car? QA1's are more of a drag shock i believe

well, I put about 2500miles on it a year, and all the racing I do it drag racing. Mainly I am looking to keep it lowered some but also be able to raise it up for more clearence. I know the QA1s are comepletely adjustable, and the konis I think just have a few different settings? I am not sure exactly.

The drop is advertized as different but in reality it is the same ~ about 1.25" drop.

People with Konis, how adjustable is the ride height? KYBs? QA1s?

You could alweys get the 1LE springs (which I had a hard time betting the real ones) and use the lower perch in the front and use the heater hose mod for the back.

That is about a 3/4" drop.

I might be changing my springs out for a stiffer rate so I could possibly have my 1LE's for sale.

the problem is Strano springs are on back order atm!

I went with BMR 1" lowering springs and Bilstein HD's and absolutely love the look and ride.
