stock ss exhaust
i just noticed that my y-pipe on my 00 ss is like flat on 1 side the drivers side back to where it goes into the cat back the otherside isnt are they made like that or should it be round also am i losing any flow with this i know its a dumb ? but i was just wandering thx

That's the stock pipe - mines the same way.

I agree with above thats the stock pipe. Reason its "crushed looking" is so that it wouldnt knock on the floor board. If you get headers and ory you will know what im talking about. lol
Thats a argument alot of people will take, one will say you loose flow and some say you dont.
In my opinion you really dont loose any flow thats just the way it was designed.2001 SS, Its not the car its the Driver that matters....

Yes, that's the stock pipe and clearance is the reason for the "squeeze" on the driver's side. It may not look pretty, but it gets the job done for the stock setup.
