    Hey all

Just joined. Currently driving a 2005 Subaru Outback XT 5MT with 350 hp. I'm keeping that car, but have been jonesing for a 1993+ T/A or Formula 6MT. Figured joining a forum was the first place to go to look.

I checked Fleabay, but you know how that goes. Nothing but 200K mile cars that have been to the strip twice a week.

    Anyway, that's me.

Thanks. I may have found a really nice LT1 though- if pull the trigger on it, I'll be sure to whore up some pix.

I haven't looked around on the tech sections here much yet- I know the LS1 is more desirable because it's more powerful- are there any big red flags on the LT1's?

It's mainly the fact that it's newer and people tend to pull more power out of the LS1's. And in my opinion they look alot better.

Gotcha. I'm actually partial to the 93-97 style. But that's all individual preference.

I'm into turning wrenches, so I'm hoping there are some decent upgrades (ECU tuning, headers, intakes, etc) as far as performance.

BTW, cool site- looks like lots of technical info to sift through. I've been away from V8's for a while, but I remember how well they respond to very mild mods.
