I had a jumper!!!

Well at work tonight, around 9:51 pm, as I post this it is 11:03 pm my time. I get a call over the two way radio, that at one of the buildings I patrol on the 8th floor there was a person wanting to jump. She was standing on the balcony but with myself, 2 other patrols, 4 police, 2 fire department everyone was able to get her off, and on to a stretcher to take a ride to the hospital. Everything turned out fine, but easily could have went south. Just for the heads up, I patrol a building of mentally unstable people/disabled people/poor people, so I believe she easily could have been off her meds and felt the need to do something like this.

I have seen some fucked up shit, have to rank in the top 5 on this board for stuff like that. A fall from 8 stories on to concrete........One of the few I haven't seen and wouldn't like to one bit....

i sat in a hotel bar once, partying, when paramedics and firemen ran by out side. 10 minutes later we heard a women had jumped from the 20th floor. party was kinda over after that.
