Clutch change...
Well its getting to be that time...my car has a little over 40k on it and the clutch is begining to slip in second and third gears. How hard is the clutch change? My car is going to stay pretty much stock, so I was looking at the SPEC stage II clutch for its drivablilty. Should I go with a lightweight flywheel? Resurface the old one? Buy a new one? Buy new slave and master cyls? Im new to the 6spd game here. Advice is greatly appreciated.

Also what should I do about the flywheel? Any advantages to a different one or just have the stocker resurfaced. I know lightweight is an advantage, but is it worth the cash on my DD?

Well I have to say that I agree with you...the car won't be making over 450 on gas and for the price, the LS7 clutch and LS2 flywheel combo seem to be the way to go. Does the clutch kit from GM come with the pilot bearing and throwout bearing and alignment tool?
