V6 Mustang vs my Xtreme

Okay, first of all there is this kid at my school who is always saying he can race this and race that. He has a V6 Mustang with a Cobra.R wing on it. He keeps saying when are we gonna race when are we gonna race....well ide like to show him but I need a little heads up on how I will do.

lol you know it. Also I think the swirlie fake chrome wheels take about 600lbs off the car...you know..beings that they are lightweight and stuff lol

i really wish that they would have made an M6, 4.3L, regular cab, sport box. instead they do all that...but put the 2.2L in it.

The v6 stangs were 3.4 or 3.8 the 3.8 made 200hp-215 depending on year so in that case you would win up to 50 maybe 60 then he would pull you.

i raced and xtreme in my moms impala with the 3.8 making 200hp and passed it at 50 which is probably heavier than the stang so you might loose have fun and tell me how it goes.

Are you serious? Displacement is only one of many factors in getting power..you should know that dude.

What year stang? If it's a new edge you'll probably get walked up top...I hope not though.

I think its like a '95-'97 stang.

Those only had 150hp i think. I don't think you will have a problem until you get higher in speeds. I wouldn't race him on the interstate. Street light to street light shouldn't be a problem for you.

You don't have anything to worry about. I had a s-10 with the 4.3l before i got my Transam and that truck could take the v-6 stangs easily and would barely edge out the 94-96 gt's if they were stock. My truck had a intake, exhaust, and headers.
