    First Suspension Mod

Hey guys i have a stock suspension '99 Z28. Am i am upgrading my power with headers, exhaust and such and i figured it would be nice to be able to launch my car better. Im not really looking at handling to much. What would be the best first upgrade that will help me the most in a straight line?

    re:

I'd say SFC would be the first thing I'd do since you are going to be adding power to the car. I'd use the Kenny Brown or SLP SFC. After that an after market torque arm and a good set of shocks would be very helpful in launching the car.

Go with SFC's, I just got a set of three point from UMI Performance , but haven't mounted them yet. They look like they are built well and there powder coat finish looks awesome.

I also agree with the sfcs. I also have the UMI dimond sfcs and they work awsome. In addition i have lakewood traction bars and a strut bar. Next on the list is a set of kyb AGX shocks and maybe a 1 inch drop spring.

i still don't have SFC in either car. start off with trailing arms, panhard rod, relocation brackets. not saying SFC aren't good first step. just not needed right off the bat. then, i would move onto torque arm and shocks.

Relocation brackets and lca's. SFC's aren't needed first.

Subframe connectors &/or lower control arms w/ relocation brackets. The first suspension mod I did was subframe connectors.
