My friends first race with his ss

My friend and I picked up a 2000 SS with a bunch of mods under the hood this past week. We were out in town when we ran into another friend with a moded 04 Z06. We went out on the highway and raced twice. The first race we went from a 20 roll and we put about 3 1/2 cars on him. The second race we went from a 40 roll and we put about 2 cars on him. We can't wait to take it to the track this spring. I'm thinking it should be a mid 10 second car.

im being nice now.......so dont get pissed....but i was thinking and this is just my opinion....that if you were a mid 10 sec car........you would cruuuuuuuuuuuush a c5 z....which is usually a mid to low 12sec car......not by just 2 length....but that is just my opinion.....have a nice ls1 day

the ss is a 392 stroker with a procharger and the zo6 is also supercharged pushing 11psi

Notice how he talks all this shit and doesn't ever ask what mods the ss and z06 have....even though nhra stated they were both modded. Don't worry about bacon..he can't even remember what year "mach" he has...he says he has an 03 but in his sig it says 04. Go figure

Don't worry about stroker's bro, and you don't really need a S/C to achieve the desired results that you're looking for (unless you're just looking for dyno numbers). High ten, low eleven second, naturally aspirated daily drivers can easily be achieved with the LS1 F-Body's. My Iroc has been running in the 10's in street trim since I finished her, and believe me, you don't want to go any faster than that on the street.

Careful selection of the valvetrain, suspension and gearing, and you'll be in the deep elevens in no time. ;)

My budget seems to always gets in the damn way man... I'd love things like a Carbon Fiber Driveshaft... A nice Torque Convertor...things like that. Help me out here. Thanks!
