I have a 4L60E in a 68 Camaro. I lost 1st and OD. I think it's the two shift solenoids. What do you guys think. Thanks in advance BIGVIN

Is there a way to test the solenoid I'm running a TCI controler.

wellelectrically yes but there are only two and they are only about 20 dollars each.

I checked all the solenoids and are all ok. What do you guys think?

I would have just changes them since its hard to check them mechanically , However if its not the solenoid I would have to look at the 1-2 shift valve behind it maybe stuck but rare and theres the possibility something has become odged in the solenoid feel hole in the valve body plate its very small
