97ss vs bacon mach

all races were 75 and up...........the ss is a 6spd with 273/298rwhp and the bacon is a 5spd with 309/336......wee 3 honk at 75 i just leave it in 4th(easily could use 3rd redline 7k@110mph......he[/email] leaves in 3rd.....I imediately put 1/2 and keep walking away till 110 then gave with him about 2cars behind.....the faster we go the worse it would get .....4th is good till 140.....im pretty positive the 6spd cant pull that close to 140 in 4th......like 130 or so i believe but not positive.........smoken lil lt1 though goes good....using 3rd the race aint preety...but it was unfair to begin with...once he gets some mods itll be a fun race.....410s lt1edit ect......nice car.....

i should be able to launch fine(315 35 17' drag radials)....but i like my tires that why i roll race and highway patrol doesnt usually like it when i stop dead in the middle of the highway....

I gotta say, however, some of the best sounding cars on the road are Mustangs. Damned if you can't tell a Mustang's comming with an H-pipe and good mufflers. Nice, deep, throaty tone. Beautiful.

Oh yea, I have to call B.S. on going from 4th gear @75 mph. That would put around 3000rpm or less unless you have reallll steep gears.Mod motors need to be higher in revs to make serious power.Maybe you were spraying,in that case you have nothing to brag about, running a stock lt1 SS.

what do u want.....its a low 14sec car vs a 12sec car...........i dont wanna hear ur bs about some guy across the country that ran a 13.6 bonestock...cause i dont care.....ive seen these run.....including this one.....low 14's high 13s at best.......

ive raced several gt's 99-04....in the ss just puts 1.5cars on them.....and the ones that have any boltons haven been a close race with a slight advantage for the lt1....i mean real slight....
