I'm toying with the idea of a 100 dry shot system with a 10lb (or less) bottle for my ls1.
I don't want to change spark plugs can I just keep the Tr55's ?
I don't want to have a bottle heater will this be ok ?

you won't have to change the plugs for a 100 shot.

yes, it is ok not to have a bottle heater. only problem is less performance if bottle pressure is low. most companies want 950-1050 psi for optimum performance. less than that and the a/f ratio goes more rich.

just a question why do you not want to have a bottle heater?

I remember a post about a honda or something that blew p the nitrous bottle because the heater stayed on. The less I have to worry about, the better. Can I have a pressure gauge and fill the bottle back up when the pressure is low ?

you can have a full bottle and only have 800 psi. what i did was tie into the rear window defroster.5 minute timer, can only be on if the key is on. easy to use. on/off button on the dash. realy and wiring already done for you.

now, you could hide the power wire by tapping into where it comes in from the top of the hatch and run it down the side under the headliner and down the side panels into the back through the panels to the bottle heater.

the bottle should have a burst disc like a paintball tank. its just a little copper disk that will break an let the gas out at of a small hole if the pressure goes above a safe limit and they cos a quarter at most.

that disc ruptures at 3000psi. and cost a little more than a quarter.

Depending on where you live you'll regret not getting a bottle heater. I live in Texas and even our heat wouldn't heat the bottle to a high enough pressure sometimes. And using a blow torch at the track gets old and isn't too safe either.
