Nope. Happened to a friend of mine with an 03 cobra. Totalled his car and he still owes 23K on it.

So you think full coverage would cover track racing? I'm pretty sure a new z06 dude would have full. I just couldn't imagine how hard of a reality check that was.

Deserves it, I'm an older man. If you can't handle the power then don't drive it like you stole it. See it way too much.

Heh.........Mason Dixon!?

I've raced there a time or two.

At first glance I thought he spun. Didn't do much of a burnout, so I assume he was on street tires, and I've seen more than one Z06 fishtail halfway down the track.

2nd time I watched it though it doesn't look like his tires broke loose, just looks like he simply turns into the wall. My guess is something important broke.

Or maybe it was the GM gods taking revenge on the driver of a C6 Z06 for losing to a fox body.

So many possibilities, but all in all...he's fucked.

Horrible way to lose a car, i had a friend of mine take his 65 camaro out to the drag strip to race it, had a built 427 with a blower and some stupid kid in a srt4 crossed center on the strip and hit him doing 80 mph. They put the car back together and he was pissed.

I can almost guarantee you that it won't be covered, even if you have full coverage. Generally all auto policies will have an exclusion for racing. You have to buy that coverage seperately, and man is it expensive.

true but he can say he lost control of it at a shoping mall or something. Racing insurance is not worth gettin too dam expensive.

Yes, but if you get caught doing that it is a major felony...

WTF happened?!?!?! My initial thought when I saw the vette turn was that he was shifting into the right lane... It looked like he turned on purpose, but you can see him counter steering too, and it just wasn't enough. My R.A.G. is that the right rear seized up or broke somehow... One second he was straight and the next he was aimed at the wall.

Nothing Broke. The GM Gods reached down and smote him for getting his ass handed to him by a Fox body in his Vette..
