So my wife drives the car every friday to keep her running while i'm gone. last friday on her way to pick the kid up from daycare on post she spots a black SS coming up in the right lane quick so she lets off a little so he can catch up,(was going 95 and slowed down to about 45). she says she waited till he had half his car in front and then gunned it. she claims she was ahead by three cars and let off at around 95 because she thought the dude was just messing with her. So they end up at the next light and both gun it again from the green, she said she had him by about a car when she let off at around 110. They were lined up again at the next light and she rolled down the window and told the dude he had a nice ride, the windows on my car are 20% all around and she had her work hat on and said the guy looked surprised to see a woman driving.

My wife happens to be a good driver and has owned 4 f-bodies before this one. She even raced one every weekend at Clarksville Speedway,(1/8), was a 79 Firebird with a blown 350 in it that ran in the 7's. i trust her to drive my car as hard as she wants to. the only reasons why i posted this was because it made my day when she told me about it this morning, and i figure you all might appreciate a LS1 vs. LS1 race. she's also told me about beating a Charger and an 05+ Mustang GT but this was the only race i figure was worth posting.

Last year at bandcamp, my Camaro grew rockets and beat a Ferrari F40 at the race to the moon! I'm sorry to be an ass, but this story sounds BS. I have a wife who beats Chargers, Camaros SS's, and Mustangs (only 2005 models or newer's mind you!) on her way to daycare. Oh, and on the weekend she dragraces her '79 Firebird that somehow manages to put out 400hp...ahhh where's Stewie Griffin when you need him!

Just because she has breasts don't make her unable to drive.. Sherry Muldowney ring a bell. Or John Force's daughter and Many Many more.. My Ex would throw down with anyone..
Current wife Freaks out tho :denied:
No need to toss the BS Flag like women can't drive. Personally I love me a girl that will throw down :date:

He's mad because he drives a SS and girls beat him all the time. What a pussy to talk shit about a chick racing. I'm guessing Rosie keeps you happy. :jerkit::true:

chicks make pretty good racers. Once you teach em the basics (goes the same for guys too i guess), they win since the usually weigh 100lbs less.

she doesn't really go out looking for races, the mustang challenged her, and it was another woman driving so she says she had to race at that point, the challenger was a freeway race an she let off at 120 with 3 cars on it. but said the other driver gave her a thumbs up and didn't want to play anymore. She takes the car out on fridays before she picks up the kid, she drives it as hard as she feels like and for the most part just likes to cruise. it's one of her "simple pleasures in life" as she calls it. she doesn't race with the kid in the car and only plays with V8's. she also stated that she already assumed she was gonna lose to the SS but ran anyways, that's probably why she figured the dude was just messn with her on the first run.

on a side note, one of my buddies just bought his wife a 07 Charger R/T. says he's gonna smoke my Z28 so i told him "even my wife can beat you". this was like four months ago. i'm considering letting the wife drive now. it'll be 1/8 track at Clarksville Speedway and she knows this place very well. But then this race won't happen till we all come home.

If you knew how to read you would know it was a blown 79 firebird. My wife would race cars everyday in our camaro. Thats why I have the car now and she drives a trailblazer.

i like the fact that my wife can drive a car and race for the most part, but i do admit that i'm not 100 percent cool with her doing so while i'm deployed. before i left home and even while on R&R i didn't go for every challenge that presented itself. i've only actually raced the car twice since i've had it. the first was a charger and the second was an LT1 Z28. and both guys turned out to be cool about it. i prefer if she raced on the track, i can't afford for anything to happen to her and when i explained this to her a couple of days ago she agreed to chill out and just wait till i get back home and then we'll hit track nights. i do agree with her opinion of only running with V8's, i know there are some fast 4 and 6 cylinders out there and i give them credit and respect. but for me to risk it on the street.... well it would have to be worth it, even if i know i'm gonna lose. back when i had my 84 Monte SS a newer Shelby 500 lined up with me at a red and reved, i knew damn well i didn't stand a chance but it looked all clear so i ran him anyways, still had fun.
