I had a B&M (stage 3) shift kit and it worked fine. It really made it pound into 2nd gear. Then I had my transmission pulled and bought a stronger race tranny from neal chance.
I have a transgo kit for my truck but haven't put it in yet..

I have Trans Go too. Haven't had a need to try anything else. I liked the stiffness improvement, but I got more out of a tune. I think the shift kit just help solidify the tranny for the tune improvements and TC.

I modify the TransGo Performance Shift kit. I tailor it to your particular engine, rear end gear ratio, torque converter, how you drive, etc. combination. This works much better than the out of the box TransGo Performance Shift kit. Dana

Does that meen you do not install all the parts that the customer paid for?

No, I add more parts. Torlon checkballs, oversized torlon checkballs for worn areas when not using a new separator plate, hardened accumulator pins, new late design accumulator pistons, accumulator piston seals, new EPC solenoid filter, the correct valve body gaskets, etc.
