85 700R4 Torque Convertor lockup? (v6)

Hey guys,

So i'm working on a 85 S15 Jimmy it has a 700R4 4X4 transmission and i need to replace the torque converter. My Problem is i've seen listings for non-locking torque convertors and locking torque convertors for 84-93 700R4's. The jimmy has a 2.8L 60deg V6, carbed. AFAIK it doesnt have an ECM, So i didnt know if it would have a vacum modulator for lockup or if i should get a TC with out lockup.

First you have to have a converter very specifically for the s10 2.8 . You do want lockup and there should be a pcm in there somewhere if not you will need a lockup kit from somewhere like TCI
