How long?

I registered and was waiting for the email, but didn't get one immediately. Does it take minutes, hours, or days for the initiation email? I've only been waiting 15 minutes or so. Should I log off and come back? Not trying to post, just read some of the postings.

You should get it almost immediately. Check your spam filter

I can only post on this board. I can't even read the posts in areas like General Help. I'll turn off my spam catch for email. Could the email be resent to "verify" my account?

Still no luck. I tried to send you an email direct to verify my email address. Is it ok to post it here? If not, I'm guessing you'll edit it out really quick.

I removed my spam filter (already got spam mail since it was removed). Here is my email address in case I mis typed it.

I couldn't send the email to your address. You have the correct email address. I have turned off all filters and allowed all spam and still haven't received and email. I'll update my profile to temporarily change to a different account to see if that works.

Changed the email address in profile to a work email address 25 minutes ago and didn't get an email at the new address.

Got an email that said I need to request activation codes. I clicked on the please send my files with the current email adress. Got nothing back. I'll try to get into general help again to see if it works.

I tried to switch my email address and lost privaleges. Never got the verification email for either address. I just reverted back to my old address. Could you send me the email to reverify the address so that I can have my reading and posting privelages, please?

Received email. Followed link for activation codes. Sent that off about 30 minutes ago. Nothing in return.
