how do you program an A4 tranny

Hello, is it possible to reprogram an A4 tranny or does the pcm do this on its own, just waiting to get my tranny back from the shop and would just like to know if its possible to have the shop do anything more with programming or can they even do this?...any help would be much appreciated thank you

pcm handles it..you need a good tuner like hp tuner.
