I just got a 2002 t.a. ws6 convert. that is strictly stock. I was looking at some mods, but not sure where to begin. I have heard that sub-frame connectors are a must, but I don't want to go crazy with it and spend tons of additional $$. Any answers would be greatly apprec. Thanks :drivin:

Welcome aboard! Like everyone else said, definitely a lid and catback. If a if you don't want to commit to a catback right now then just buy a muffler and get a cutout. Ported throttle body worked well for me. If you can find one shipped for under $100 maybe a Hypertech Power Programmer 3.

If you aren't gonna go crazy $$$ wise then I would recommend SFC, Lid and a nice sounding CB. Def. get the SFC, especially on a 'Vert.
We'll see you in a month or 2 when that whole "I don't want to spend a lot of $$$ thing" changes:lol:

well after talking with u guys and doing a little research, I thinking of ordering an SLP lid with air filter, and going with a Magnaflow cat back. The only thing I'm not sure on is if the Mag. cat backs will be too loud when the top is down on the car. Anyone have a setup similar to this ???

Check ebay for lid and filter combo's and compare prices. Search "ls1". Also check the for sale sections on all of the message boards.

I think either Maganflow or a Hooker CB will be a nice option for you. Both flow great and sound nice but not too obnoxious at WOT. Get some SFC too

The last sentence is more true than you could imagine. After two weeks of ownership I need MORE POWER:drivin: I'm ready for a heads/cam package, too bad I have no money for the car at this time.

Is it an M6 or auto? If it is infact auto def think about a stall converter. Lid and SFC should be some of the first mods for the F body's. Specially the vert.
Good Luck!!! and Welcome to the club!!!!:usa: :usa:

Welcome.. I did Lid, filter, Magnaflow muffler (tips came later), Subframe connectors and Baer Eradispeed front rotors (you should change the front Rotors as most warp) .. see sig..

Exhaust is a must. If you want it loud, check out SLP's Loudmouth. Its cheap and it sounds awesome. It does get a little raspy and has a droan at certain rpm's but I though it was worth it when I had it.
Get yourself a lid and K&N filter. Sub frames are a must.. It will keep your car from making a bunch of noise.
Then start on suspension. I highly recommend a tubular K-member and A-arms.. then get yourself an adjustable torque arm and rear sway bar.. then youll be ready for some drag radials.. then go to the track!!

Well, the SLP lid and K&N filter are here and installed. The cat-back exhaust should be here shortly, and I have been looking at ordering some BMR SFC's. Hopefully everything should be done within the next month or so.
