Why Are These Guys So Expensive? I Dont Know If Its Worth The Money To Get A Throttle Body Thats Just Been Ported And Its Not New. Do You Know The Hp Gains And The How Much More Fuel That Is Consumed?

Just get yours ported or port it yourself, a bigger TB isn't anywhere near needed in your ballpark right now. It's easy and you can do it for free, I can get you a link to a write-up with pics if you need

The Thing Is I Really Dont Have Time To Send It Out To Some One Whos In Another State To Get It Ported. I Need It Done In About A Day And A Half. It Will Take About 3 Days And A Shit Load Of Money For Me To Express Ship It.

i ported a throttle body and only showed a 4 hp gain on dyno.not worth it, spend your money elsewhere

A tune

Definatly get a tune. I ported and polished my TB myself, but for the gains, I wouldnt pay to have it done, at least not much. I think your money would be better spent on a tune.:drivin:

So which way should i go? should i buy a pcm from pcmforless or find a guy to dyno it and tune it there?

I have one from Wait4me. its not bad for a mail order, but if youre willing to spend the money, Id get a dyno, street tune or get HPtuners, or EFIlive. I paid less than $200 and got a new PCm, then I got HPTuners, just havent had a chance to mess with it mutch.

All mail order tunes are guess work, sometimes they get it right, sometimes they dont IMO.
