Everyone in my office knows my Trans Am is a beast and no one disrespects it because they know it will eat them alive :lol:

Anyway, we got this new guy in the office about 3 months ago. His first day in the office, he comes in asking who owns the Trans Am parked in the back of the lot. I said I did and we got to talking about cars while we worked. So it comes up in the conversation that he owns a Neon SRT-4. I was hard pressed to suppress a chuckle when he told me this. He also said he wanted to race me, this time I had to laugh. He got all mad and said that when he got his car back from "the shop" he would blow my doors off. I told him to dream on.

Fast forward to tonight, he came into work as usual, walked up to me and said, "Are you ready to loose to my car? cause I got it back today!" I told him I wasn't driving the Trans Am during the week because of gas prices and the parking lot has been getting kinda full as of late. He went off on how I was chicken and didn't bring the Trans Am cause I knew he got his car back earlier that day :bs:

So the 8 hours passes with him telling everyone in the office about how much my car sucks, blah blah blah...so we leave and walk out to the parking lot, he starts showing his car off to the office hottie...it was a nice LOOKING car, but when he fired it up, it sounded stock. He started rambling off all these mods that "the shop" had done, and the girl tells him that she likes the sound of my V8 more :flex: :lol: he didn't like that at all. As I'm walking to my DD (MazdaSpeed3), he shouts to me, "I'll see you on the highway!" I'm thinking, "Oh great, I have to drive the 20 miles home with this jackass hounding me to race the entire way." So I get out on the highway and try to put a fair distance between work and me before he can catch up, in hopes that his house is closer to work than mine. That didn't work to say the least. He comes flying up behind me about 5 minutes after I had left and gets on my right and starts revving the shit out of his car. I got tired of this and honked 3 times, waiting for him to go and took off in 3rd at 65mph. By the time I engaged the clutch, he was about half a car in front of me. I then completely pulled his ass to 120, he didn't stand a chance.

I CAN'T WAIT to hear his excuses at work tomorrow. All I'm going to say is, "If you got pulled that hard by my 4-banger, how do you think you're going to hang with my car that has twice the cylinders?"

You walked him hard in a Speed3...? Holy shit! The best thing to do in this situation would be to not even mention it tomorrow...just take the high road and only talk shit to him in private (although it's hard not to defend yourself when people are around).

Be careful though, "the shop" is probably gonna have his car back for that "special tune" soon, and then you'll be done for ;)

I own one currently. Ill be the first to tell you they are a big POS. Ive owned one for 3 months and the whole time i have owned it, it hasn't ran right. It has 31,000 miles and i just found out that i have a misfire in cylinder 4. Once it's fixed im selling it and buying a ss or ws6. The only good thing about it is it handles pretty well.

This frikin pisses me off because it reminds me a bud of my neon bud. Hes got about 7 or 8k in a 4 door srt 4. Its a nice car but just because he runs 13s that means hes the baddest car around. He talked so much shit about Cobalts and other cars, I asked him if he wanted to race and he acted like I didnt say a word to him. Its the nicest neon in the area and he won second in some of the mopar finals at beech bend in bowling green. BUT ITS A NEON! I left in first sideways. end of story

Lol...well, he came into work last night and avoided me like the plague for about 3 hours. That is until he had to ask me a question about how do fix one of the computers we monitor. I helped him without saying anything about the race. This must of given him confidence (like I forgot or something), so he relaxed a bit towards me after that. Night went by without incident or mention of the race, until we were walking out to the parking lot...I said to him, in my most cheery voice, in front of the entire office as we were walking out (shift work does that), "So, I'll see you on the highway again?" He mumbled something about wanting to hang back in the Parking Lot to talk to our Supervisor about something. Our Supervisor heard this and said, "Fuck that, it's 11pm, I'm tired and I'm going home. You should have come to me during the shift. Sorry, It'll have to wait till tomorrow." I was laughing hysterically, but I got in my Trans Am (which I drove just for him the last two days), fired it up, revved it to 5k and did a nice little burnout out of the parking lot. I didn't see him on the highway on the way home, and I drove 10mph UNDER the speed limit :lol:

I'm off work today getting a tattoo, so I wonder what slander he is going to spread in my absence...too bad I told my supervisor (who is cool as shit) about what happened, so he'll defend me and tell everyone how much of a liar he is if he tries to tell everyone he won.

I had a similar problem at work. Guy in a Colbalt SS gets big chested when talking about his car can out run mine. I told him he had to out run my truck first. From a dig I had him to 50, he put a door on me then I let out for running traffic down.

Then my other buddy in his A4 put about 10 cars on him. Haven't heard anything about racing since.

I seriously think my ownage of him with my Mazda was a driver mod, but he insists differently :lol:... I talked to him today. He told me that his clutch was slipping. I replied by telling him it would be fair race now since my clutch is apparently going out in the Trans Am. He said he is getting his clutch replaced this week, so we'll see what comes of it...

Nice pair of cars you have. Mazdaspeed3s are very nice...as is your TA. From the sound of it, he installed a BOV and plug wires...or he doesn't know how to drive his car. MS3s aren't slouches, for sure, but if he's making a big deal about how modified he is and is getting spanked that bad, he either doesn't know how to shift or he's as clueless as he sounds.

I'm sure he'll wrap it around a tree soon enough.
