from wat i have been reading on the forum, instead of getting a used rearend or getting a rebuild, you should save the money and get a moser 12" or a ford 9". the rearend in these cars are weak (breaking with stock hp), its the same rear as the chevy s10 if im not mistakin:sulk:

You can get a basic Moser 9" for just over 2K.

If you still can not find one you can try Tennessee Auto. They part out 93-02Fbodies, they might have a used one. 423-614-8888. Their shop is in Cleveland TN. I have bought parts from them and there warehouse is stocked full of used parts. But if I was planning to build the motor in the future and the cost is not much different I would upgrade to a 12 bolt or 9". Make note if you have Traction control or not....Good Luck
