Included is the Tool, Slotted head Stud, 2 washers, Nut, and an instruction sheet. This tool will work with both single or dual spring applications. I will ship USPS Priorty Mail. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at Ramair69gto@sbcglobal.net
Tool is $ 30 Shipped to your door step.
I do accept payment via PayPal and will ship your tool the following day after PayPal payment is received. If you want to pay by check or money order just email me for my address and I will ship next day for money order, but if paying by check then I will ship when check clears.

I have a new batch made up and ready to ship. Let me know if anyone wants one.
Thanks

I saw your valve spring removal tool. Is this the type that will remove the springs with the heads still on the engine and the engine still in the bay? Will it have access to the rear most springs too? What else is needed to make this work? Does it require compressed air? I need it work on my 94 LT1.
Thanks alot, redz :hmm:

Hi Redz,
Yes this is the tool that will remove the springs right on the head with the engine still in the car. This tools fits perfect for the very hard to reach cylinders in the back, actually this was the whole reason for making this tool up in the first place for myself. For your LT1, I have been working on making the same tool and will have a couple of them made by this weekend. You would use your stock rocker arm studs along with the tool.
I like to use the compressed air method instead of the TDC method but many people use the TDC method with no problems so it is basically up to you which method you want to use since they both work.
Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks,
Tim

DO YOU NEED AIR TO HOLD UP THE VALVE, WHEN DOING THE JOB.:thinkin:
I DO NOT SALE THE TOOL.

Hi Jack,
No you do not need to use my air tool to keep up the valves. You can use what others call the TDC method where the valve drop alittle onto the top of the piston. I do NOT use this method but others do so it is a personal opinion. Thanks for the question.

Tim,
I got your package in today and I am very impressed with it. I really like the fitting to pressurize the cylinder. The ones I have used in the past did not have the flexable tube attached and getting the hose on was a pain in the ass. Thanks for the fast shipment.

I suggest that you purchase the tool rather than try to make one. The tool is a bargain at only $30.
I have heard horror stories of problems when homemade versions were used.
Tim's tool is designed to bend if abused (such as using an impact wrench on it or tightening springs past coil bind) before damaging your engine. The supplied stud will not break off in the head or strip the rocker pedestal easily like incorrect studs or bolts can.

For anyone interested, this tool works great and must have saved me an hour or more swapping out my valvesprings over using the typical valve spring compressor. Not to mention you get the fitting to pressurize your cylinder. All quality parts. I highly recommend this to anyone!

I also sell a package kit for $50 which includes the Spring Tool, and then a Tool that you screw into the spark plug hole and then your air compressor to fill the cylinder with compressed to hole up your valves which is the safest way of changing springs.
Let me know if I can help anyone

Can this tool be used on 3.8 camaro heads?

I used the valve spring tool last week. I have never used a tool that worked so quick and easy except for a valve sping clamp for loose heads! This tool is perfect!

Glad everything worked out 9t8z28 as I appreciate the feedback.
As for this tool working on a 3.8 L engine I am not really sure as we have never done one before. I would almost have to see a picture of the head in order to tell so if you can get a picture send it to me and we can go from there.
Thanks,
Tim

If any of the mods here could do that I would appreciate it. Is is also possible to change in the price in the title of the thread as well. Thanks guys
