conv rear spkrs

what are the size of the speakers in the rear on the conv. when forced to the rear they sound like crap. i used to have a coupe and it had more speakers. is the amp in the conv the same as the coupe and if so does anybody know where to tap into the outputs not used???

They are 6 1/2's. I replaced mine with focal access 165 CA.They fit fine, however I had to make a ring that was about 3/4 inch to mount the speakers on, and remove the rubber cover for the magnet, so the vert top would clear them. If you replace the back speakers , be careful to not get speakers that are very thick. Not sure about the amp, I took mine out and replaced everything but the head unit. I dont think you will be able to just put more speakers on that stock amp, or put different speakers on it. You could end up ruining the amp and the new speakers.
