Hey guys, what's the average tranny temp for a car with a 3500 stall and a trans cooler? Mine is sitting around 191 while driving.

I have a SY3500 converter and I average about 20 to 25 degrees cooler than my coolant temp. My coolant temp varies 180 to 200, and my tranny is around 160 to 175.
I got better tranny temps by upping my radiator in size and then moving my tranny cooler under the airbox (Used to have it on RH side by turn lamp).

That is a reasonable temp IMO

I have a Y3000 coupled to 3.73's with a 24K cooler and 3qt deeper pan by B&M.
My freeway temperatures in hot summer are 135F to 150F, and stop and go around town 165F to 180F.
I live in a very warm climate.
I am running a 180F thermo with the fan on/off adjusted in the PCM. I rarley see temps over 200F, mostly 187F on freeway, 197F around town.
I am reading the trans temp from the 1/8 NPT port on the transmission housing, and using a Cyburdine digital gauge.
