Waterless Car Wash??

I'm interested in hearing about your experiences with "waterless car wash" products. I currently wash my TA after each use ~ and most of the time it just has a light dust on it.

there is this product that is a duster for cars, its called something like the California sweeper or something, i'm not to sure

dont wash it every day, just get a couple coats of wax on it and you'll only have to wash it 1-2 times a week, that is how i do it anyways to each his own.

I have one of those! The are perfect! Just make sure your car is waxed and the Cali Dust mop does the rest.

I have used some waterless products. The most important thing is that your car most be free of any particles because you will be at risk of scratching your paint. They are good for an almost clean car. Any claims of been effective for any kind of dirt is BS and be very cautious.

for light dust without washing, use an air compressor to blow away the dust, then go over it w/ a quick detailer spray.

I would be afraid to use the waterless carwash products. I don't want any scratches on my paint and I fear that it could cause them if you aren't extra careful

Amsoil has a foam spray in their catalog i tried out. Was good for removing waterspots after a rain but that's about it. Stick with the good ol fashoned way and the cali car duster

California car duster is a must have. I keep it in my car or truck most of the time. Its nice to use after a day or 2 and dust gets on it. Saves a lot of time v.s. washing. Cant use on a "dirty" car, just dusty. Highly recomended

Cali duster is a must have for in between washes. Waterless stuff or spray detailers will scratch when there is dust on the paint.

Wash your car the old fashioned way, with a bucket of car wash soap and soft wash mitt. The California water blade is best for drying your car. Then dry off the remaining water with an Absorber.

Dudes, step up to the 21st Century. I've been using Waterless Car Wash for years. It has actually help conceal swirk marks. the solution used in this stuff is the same thing we use on $40 million jets. I have a black Z-28 and everyone knows how hard they are to keep clean. I'm so sold on this stuff that I just bought a case of it and selling to my friends at cost.

This stuff does NOT scratch the paint and here's how: The solution encapsulates the dirt particles and suspends in the emulsion above the surface of the clearcoat. After drying to a haze, you merely wipe it off with a microfiber cloth taking off the haze AND the dirt. Still hand washing? You're putting scratches on, not taking them off!

I took first place in the daily driver category of the Midwest CamaroFest in 2005 and 2002 and second in 2003. Waterless car wash is what I used to prep... and I didn't even start cleaning it till I got there.

My cleaning procedure? Brushless car wash. Let air dry. Do not dry by hand cause THAT is what causes the swirl marks. Apply Waterless car wash per directions. My black paint looks like it did when I rolled it off the showroom floor 3 years ago.

Oh yeah, you California duster work great after you've "waterless car washed" it a couple times. AND it's better than Rain-X for windows.
