So lately I noticed my steering on my 02 TA Ws6 seems a little loose, is there anything besides putting new parts (sway bars, Aarms, etc) in that I can tighten it up? This wasnt always like this, I was actually thinking of doing a new front bushing kit. Let me know what you all think.

Thanks

did you only notice the "looseness" after the new stuff went on?

no the stuff was already on and I just noticed it a few months later. So I believe my steering and handling have become lose since.

could be a messed up tie rod or something not as severe as shocks-though it's a good idea to switch them out for something like Konis! Perhaps have a shop look at it on a rack and see if it's got a misalignment for anyreason-thought that will be counter producting IF you're getting konis in the very near future-as you'll need realigned after the install.

by loose do you mean that there is a dead section in your steering, before you feel it react ?
Before starting to just swap parts, there are a few things you can check.
1st thing that comes to mind is the hubs... raise the car, and check if you have loose when shaking the wheel having your hands in the 12-6 position... and then 3-9 position too.
Also, what are your alignment specs ? when was last alignment done ?

What I mean is that when I turn the wheel it feels lose there is no loss of steering or anything just not tight anymore.

by loose, do you mean that there is a range where you move slightly the steering wheel to the right or left and the car will not react, ie a deadzone...
or the direction feels sloppy, vibrations, etc, less predictable...

the shocks can play a big role on the feedback, and don't forget to let us know about the alignment + hub-play.

left or right feels sloppy, loose like, not tight when turning.
