Our annual July 4th event! Big pavement, big course, bigger-and-better-than-ever-before cash and prizes!

Location:

Schedule:
7:00 AM - Gates open and course opens for walking shortly after.
7:30 AM - Registration and Tech Opens
8:15 AM - Registration and Tech Closed
8:30 AM - Drivers Meeting
9:00 AM. First car off!

RUN-OFF FORMAT:
We will run a 3 heat format (Run, Work, Rest). Each heat will receive 6 runs. We will take a 30 minute break while the Top 10 drivers by PAX from each heat are sorted out to make up the final 30 drivers. The final 30 will receive 3 more runs to determine finishing positions.

ALL that attend will get an event t-shirt.

The top 10 places (By SCCA-defined PAX) receive cash prizes as follows...

1st $250
2nd $175
3rd $125
4th $100
5th $75
6th $50
7th $25
8th $25
9th $20
10th $20

There will also be over $250 worth of door prizes raffled off to those of the volunteer final heat workers. When you sign up to work the final heat, your name goes in the hat to be pulled by this year's overall winner . There will also be other door prizes for some of those that do not make the finals. Everyone has a chance to get something!

And like years past, I would expect these prizes to increase as we get closer to the event

$60 for NORA members
$75 for non-members
Limit 125 drivers

why is this one so much more expensive? will there be prizes and stuff/free food? I'd like to come-but that's a big jump from the $35 one!

Yeah this one because they are giving out cash prizes as well as goodies. Last year they gave away over $4000 in cash and prices. This year they plan on more prizes. Plus the Best driver's in the North East will be in attendance as there is a SCCA Pro-Solo event in Toledo that weekend so a lot of them come and use this for test and tune not to mention that the prices are better than at the Pro-Solo. There is a regular event this coming weekend that is regularly priced.
