A4 transmission help please

I have a A4 transmission in my trans am and have noticed apon heavy acceleration especially from astand still it seems to backfire to me when it hits the rev limiter..... does it need to be reflashed at a transmission shop or anything...anybody else have this problem or know what it is please?:sillyme:

make sure your maf is clean and throttle body is clean..i wouldnt worry to much about it..try those fixes before you worry.

thank you, but I don;t understand what that has to do with it backfireing or maybe its not but thats what is sounds like to me when it hits the rev limiter? the map is clean and so is the throttle body

wow...backfires are loud as hell..sure they are backfires?

Yeah, are you positive it's backfiring??? That seems really odd to me, since it's fuel injected....

I think he may be hearing the stutter popping sound you can get when bouncing the limiter not and actual shot gun loud backfire
