i raced a GTI with 15-20 PSI intake, chip, exhaust

i pulled him instantly by 2-3cars in second gear once i hit 3rd i was out like a fat kid in dodgeball

take it from someone who drives both on a daily basis. i have a near stock t/a and work on volkswagens. stock for stock, a t/a would handily kill a gti, especially at highway speeds. from a stop, after 25 mph its completely over. there are alot of things that you can do to a 1.8t or a vr6 though, so beware.
