So I was driving around Fort Wayne last night and a 02 silver wrx pulls up next to me, looks stock with some nice looking wheels, then i hear his exhaust, it was loud and sounded pretty mean. So i was like ok I'll let him make the first move so we take off from the light slow niether of us get on it but both sift way late in the rpm range and i could hear his turbo. at this point i knew it was a serious car. we get another red light and once again i let him make the first move he rolls of the line slow and gets on it and i'm right on him, he must have been messing with me cause soon as i got on it, its like he went from 3/4 to wot hell pulled pretty good on me before we both shut down for traffic. his car was so loud though, i couldn't even hear me car over his and mines not real quiet. so after all this i get back up next to him and give him a thumbs up and him and his hot ass girl waved back.

Those cars are no joke when when they actually start putting money into them. My buddy has a WRX with an STI ported turbo and full tune running 19lbs. That little thing pulls hard. Dead even or beats me if he gets the jump.

Good race.

This was on Coliseum at the light at Lima and then the next light (speedway maybe?). Kind of dumb to run there but didn't see any cops so.. I live in Grabill but i'm always in town around Canterbury where my freinds all live. Yeah i've noticed there arn't to many f-bods around, but i allways pass some old man on st. joe in a pewter ss almost everyday on my way into town

I saw were he and his tuner buddies were hanging out later but I was on my way to go out to eat so didn't get a chance to stop, but they're there almost every weekend so I'll have to find out next time I'm out and about the town.

win some lose some! It's takes plenty of cash for a wrx to run like that!

Just think of how much money he had to pour into that car to get it that way. If you were both stock, he may have got the jump on you but you would easily catch back up.

i am more worried about the lil 2 liter wrx's rather than 2.5 sti's. people get those and then hop them up, despoiler them and put some wheels and a can on. its hard to tell what else they have done. nice death, i like the lil boxer engines
