just wondering what the amount of HP lost from the crank to the wheels? I forgot where i herd it but something like 1.2% i.e. 350 crank /1.2 gives you RWHP? does anyone know if this is right?

with manual car it's pretty much accepted generally to lose 12-15% of total flywheel horsepower. Automatic is usually like 18-20% depending on how tight your converter is and what tranny also. Other factors come into play like the size and model of rearend. Stock camaro 10 bolt is small with minimal loss where as 9 inch has different centerline and large gears for strength resulting in more rotational mass and parasitic drag. These factors all play a role so it will vary from car to car but above values are pretty close.
