I was driving by a local chevy dealer today and noticed a gorgeous pewter formy sitting outside. So i pulled in to take a look. The car has 30some thousand miles on it, auto, cloth, mayyyybe a hardtop i dont remember. They want $18,000 for it! Im looking because i have too much money tied up in my car to sell it and i definitely dont want to take it too college, plus this formula doesnt attract nearly as much attention. It would get better gas mileage than my current DD too. Its bone stock and id leave it that way, my car has 42,000 miles on it so its not like im just looking for a low mileage ls1.
Whats up with this dealer price? What do you guys think i could even offer? I say $12,000-13,000 tops. They probably only gave the guy $9,000 for the car anyway.

I paid $14999 for my 2001 formula with the 6 speed and leather and T tops. And it had 58k on it. I bought it from a dealer.

For a 2000 Formula with those options, $14,500 would be the MAX.

Definitely overpriced. That thing should be absolutely loaded and MINT for that price.
Sure it's got low mileage, but I'd say 13-14k MAX for a low option Formula. And even THAT's pushing it.
Low mileage or not, that's still an 8 year old car!
In 2000 I paid 19k for a '98 Formula M6 H/T with 27k miles.

Yeah no shit! I actually laughed at the guy when he said that. I went back and looked, it has Ttops so its not even that rare either. I wouldnt pay more than 11 for the car. Its an auto, cloth, no monsoon. Its not loaded by any means.

Way overpriced at $18,000, but with 30,000 miles, $14,000 is more reasonable. Good luck getting them anywhere near $11,000.
