4L60E Transmission Problem

OK now I have had my car in the shop today checking out a problem I had this weekend after it would only drive in second gear with the check engine light on ? So today the guy at the transmission shop cleared the codes and said that a selonoid had heated up and caused this to happen .
It was OK untill the car came home and now both the check engine & parking brake light`s are on but it seems to drive normal ? does anyone know what this means ??

I would scan the car to see what code came up.

Got the trans fixed tonight it turned out to be a shot selonoid , changed filter and fluid at the same time . Shifts allot better now ! :yay:
