What makes a T/A a Raptor??

i was just wondering is a raptor just the name of the specific aftermarket hood for the trans am or can u actually have a trans am raptor like the trans am firehawk, and if there is a raptor trans am what components does it have to make it that besides the raptor hood.

nope..the raptor is just a reference to the hood...a firehawk was a option through slp..where they upgraded parts more-so then just the hood.

thanks for the info shady because i know about the firehawk i just didnt know if "Raptor" was in the same category or not but now i know that its just a hood not another slp or aftermarket car. Thanks for the info!!

i consider a t/a a raptor because raptor means bird of prey

T/A = firdebrid
firebird = bird of prey
bird of prey = Raptor

therefore

Raptor = T/A
