squeaky bird!!!!

got a 98 trans am and the freaking front left suspension area sqeaks when i go over speed bumps,bumps etc. IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY WHAT IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????? please help me so my baby doesnt sound so ghetto:sillyme:

My V-6 Firebird did that also. I have it up for sale and just bought a T/A Formula to replace it. It sloved my problem...hahhaha

To isolate the squeak you can spray wd-40 or white lithium grease on the bushings. BUT do one at a time and drive after each bushing so that you can isolate what is causing the squeak and replace the worn part.

^ what he said. I had an awful metal-on-metal screech from my rear suspension that turned out to be a dried out bushing.

+1... now i can't hear my neighbors bitching that my car is to loud any more... i just see thier mouths moving... but i hear only the sweet tone of my exhaust... :lmao:

see a mechanic and ask if you can get a grease job that should stop any squeeks

Either buy a new bushing and replace it. Or just add grease. Or have a mechanic do it...which is probably better if you don't know what your doing.
