Weld in an Electric Cutout for now and do your exhaust properly later.

hooker, magnaflow, flowmaster, IMCO cherry bomb, v-force, pypes
almost all the companies that make catback systems for these cars will sell just the muffler. all sound good. magnaflow will probably be the quietest. hooker is always a good choice. flowmaster sounds pretty decent on a stock car, the cherry bomb is almost identical to the flowmaster but is a bit louder, v-force is a knock off flowmaster, and pypes i have never heard in person but there catback sounds nice

which one will hook up to my stock pipes the best, or what size inlet/outlet should i get?
Can't speak for the rest but my Hooker bolted up without too much of a problem. The usual nasty muffler installation.

I forget what the inlet/outlet size is, but just ask for one for a 19 whatever F body, and you will get the right one, in both cases.

Really, cause i had the Magnaflow catback on my car and it sounded awesome, just let it "break in" a bit and the sound gets louder and deeper. I personally think Borla sounds like shit and is WAY overpriced, but it's just opinion.

I have JBA mufflers and like them.
They all sound good on a V8 LS1 to me. Everyone has a particular sound they are looking for. e.g. I don't care for the raspy but some do.

If it were me i'd go with a Magnaflow muff and a cut-out.

i have a flowmaster 40 and no cats and have gotten a few compliments on how good it sounds, too quite for my taste at idle but screams at WOT. i will be getting a cutout soon also.
