Is a 3 point stb much better than one that isnt? I want to spend around 100$ what would be a good brand to choose. I dont know too much about suspension/chassis stuff...

3 point are much better. But BMR or UTI I think is another company. 3 points are about 250 or better.

Is a 3 point more difficult to install?

I'm sure it wouldn't be any more difficult then installing a regular single point STB.

I don't see why it would? a STB has nothing to do with your electrical system.

Forgot to add that my BMR STB is a 2 point. Someone (can't remember who) once told me that the 3 point STB's for our cars are unnecessary because the 3rd point of connection goes under the cowl which offers no support.

And a pain in the Ass to install and remove.

I also heard from a friend that i should get a rear stb too. I dont know much at all about chassis and suspension but does anyone know anything about this? Also what is the best "bang for buck" stb?

don't know of a manufacturer that makes one for the rear. besides, the rear shocks bolt just behind the rear seat. not really a stress area. usually cars that you can buy a rear STB for is an import. i've seen plenty of those available.

it has nothing to do with the electrical itself. it's a matter of clearing the components under the hood.

They say there is no reason to use a 3 point on a ls1 f-body, since they mount to the thin peice of metal above the engine (kinda the base to the windshield), and it is not strong enoung to really do anything. I would go with a two point.
