killing a brand new 04 GTO

this guy must have not had it for a week or so
cause this was a year or so ago now

I simply raced him down Beltline(long-straight-brand-new road
) in Coppell, TX(surburb of Dallas)

we both were pulling out the a parking not more than a mile from my apartment and I even was not sure if he was going to race
we were on a roll and he got an expected jump on me
I immediately dropped the clutch and stomped the gas,and began to pull on him
By the time I hit fourth I was a few car links ahead and I had to turn in my apartments
he follow me into my apartments (cause apparently he lived there as well)
but never would even looked at me

(speed probably close to 120MPH(cannot remember) in the residential area)

I know it is nice to burn the Japanesse cars and stangs
but unless they are a Cobra (03 and above)
most times it is laughable

wonder what he thought after spending 35k on a GTO?

glad GM upped it to 400 HP for 05
I am betting it will not be so easy with one of them

I only spent $25k on my GTO. They were pretty much giving them away last year. I hope he didn't spend $35k!!!!!!

Nice kill....yup...stock the 04/05 Goats are great and all but lack the cat like quickness you want....nothing a few mods wont fix...my 04 GTO heads/cam/headers/3200 stall/Driveline/rear end etc.etc. runs low 11's and is mucho quick....Nitrous goes on this week for close to 600 RWHP..... :usa:

Yup she would be fast I do not doubt....getting my Nitrous this week (finally)....that will put me right there with you:) Hell I run in Ennis every so often...couple of us LS1 boys should hook up and show the rest what it's like to have a real motor:)

Ok here I bet I can make you laugh harder than youve ever laughed before...
I work at Dallas gold and silver and this kid came in about 16-17 Hes talking to a couple of guys at my work about there silvia 240's... This kid says I have a Integra with a type R motor in it. I said wow thats not to bad for a kid at 16... I can remember my first car but anyways. He took this like I was making fun of him and he says "Well what do you drive?" I told him a white z06 he looked at me funny and, says "AWWW a domestic, Im sorry" I damn near laughed so hard I almost got fired.

That is funny....I have a lot of young guns who hang out at the shop with their turbo Supras and nitrous Honda's....the young girls just love them ricers...so WTF...I dont blame them...however these kids are not stupid and would take a fire breathing V8 muscle car in a second if they had the bucks....

The supra would be about the only import I think I could drive, until you get to lambo's and Ferrari's and not even bc their fast just simply bc of the name.
