I have a 98 Trans Am / WS6 and with Headers and an air box lid, I would like to purchase a tuner (dioblo sport maybe) or something like this to tune the car and eliminate my rear 02 sensors. I am having trouble finding any tuners for the 98 model year on the web except for hypertech and I have not heard any good comments on the hypertech model.
1. Who makes a tuner for the 98s?
2. Would it be better to go get the car tuned somewhere?
Any thoughts will help, Thanks,

Check out http://www.hptuners.com or http://www.efilive.com
Some of our sponsors sell them.
Jet makes chips for the 98's.

Where in michigan are you? When I needed my gear ratio changed and some codes and rear o2s eliminated I went to Katech. Its right in Clinton Twp, MI, right by I94.

i have 98 ls1 camaro with ss hood and ram air with k&n filter i also have costum 3" ext free flow :) my car is auto gear . I´m thinking about hypertech is it not good for my car .can i only tune shift ponits with it. ? what are my opions in computer tuneing
I would not go with a Hypertech. Their tuning runs the engine to lean. In some cases people have said to have a power reduction. Go with a Diablo Sport Predator.

Go to a good dyno tuner www.carolinaautomasters.com . You get to see the horse power increase on the dyno. Also my car is an A4 and not only did I get 10rwhp peak gain. But at 3000rpm I gained over 25ftlbs of torque!
