I'd think you should be slightly making more power than that but good numbers regardless.

Its a mustang dyno, so it reads about 15-20 hp lower at that level. dyno jet numbers would be around 350ish.

Thanks for the info

From what I'm reading there appears to be a 10% difference.. that is, dynojet reads 10% higher.

Wow, those are SUPER numbers! Remember, all dynos are not exact. You may actually be making MORE! What it means is that you are probably over 400 horses under the hood. Now is the time to go cruising for chicks and cheese burgers and do some burn outs and brodies!! :) :) :)

:stupid:
yea should be a stronger. But no two dynos are alike and neither are two cars. I seen two of the same car make different power levels with the same part.

you should find more power with a tune with a 01.

marginally more. hes not really modded enough to be taking advantage of the ls6 intake yet. i agree with the others. all dynos are different. ur in the ballpark so as long as the tune is good (timing and afr where they should be) then give it hell

The shop folks were saying the numbers were pretty good for their dyno with just kooks headers and high-flow cats, and I felt they were being genuine. I hope I'm really doing all right - now I'm a bit worried. I guess dyno numbers are worthless in the end - its the track times that matter, right?
Danger731, your sig says you're up to 358hp - how's that possible with just a lid, some suspension work, a catback, and a different LSD?

again, all dynos different. I made 331 on a L&S dyno with only a lid and catback. its important to listen to the shop operators. they have probably had other ls1's on the dyno before and can tell you how you stack up

It was 332/334 on a dynojet, above on a mustang. You really can't compare diff dynos. Same car different dyno's.
The best advice is above, talk to the operator he knows how different packages produce.
As a side note, that same morning a C5 made 330 ish. Some motors are different.
I may be a bit higher than the norm now for some reason. Dunno maybe its the milage.
Personally, with LT's I would expect more, at least near 340/340 with a 01/02.
In all reality I wouldn't loose sleep over nor give a rats ass about 10 RWHP if my motor was running like a top. I'll take efficiency and good A/F #'s over the drop in HP anyday of the week. The question is "is the tune getting the most outta that set up "?
Most likely yes, but a little voice in my head says hmmmm...
