killed an eclipse

had an eclipse messin with me. we pulled of the light and he was on the other side of the car next to me. As the light turns green we roll slowly then he see's me and punches it so I let him have a car and a half ( i could hear his turbo pop off when he went for second) so then I punch it pass him by two cars once the wheels stop spinning then let off for the next light. needless to say he turned off without looking at me after that .

Good kill. Interesting term "pop off". Sometimes blow off valves are called pop off valves. Not sure a lot of people knew that though!

yeah i had a stupid gst eclipse messin w/me today.. nevertheless he got put in his place not only once but three times..
the first time from a 60 mph roll and then from a 45 roll and as if that wasn't leasoned learned yet he wanted to try from a dig.
I guess all them stickers and that mile high wing didn't help that 2.0 turbo HA HA
The best part was that his girl was with him the whole time lookin over at me smiling and waving bye bye to me when I dusted them

I want to run a LT1 with my wifes 07 Eclipse GT. I think the Eclipse would get killed due to the lack of torque\fwd, but it would be interesting. I've been trying to run mustangs with it, but none will run it.

You obviously haven't been introduced to the right eclipses then. Correctly built DSM's are nothing to mess with.


4g63 is the Japanese LSx motor. It's been around for a while and makes tons of power for little cash.

My old Eagle Talon, Sister of the Eclipses now days, Was capable of 100+ Extra horse of Free Mods, They are Extremely held back from the factory. And back in the Day early 90's they was Raping All Camaro's Mustangs and F-Bodies.

There No comparison to todays F-Bodies unless there modded more. But by no means are they Trash.

A FWD eclipse, Never be scared of.

A turbo AWD, You never know what they have done. it could be Night and day. I have seen them as slow as a honda and as fast as a corvette.

yea you never know what anybody has done I have seen bugs that look stock and can pull 10's plus the eclipse I wasted was a little built but not like this one.

I know a guy who slammed in 383 into an old gremlin, and still has all original paint on it with the stock wheels. You should see the looks on people faces when he gets on it and brings the front end off the ground. :drivin:

yeah when I was in high school I had a 63 nova with dual quads on a built 327 was low rise mani. so it ll was under the hood had camaro berlinetta wheels and a built turbo 400 and a 12 bolt with 4.10 in the rear. It was all primer and didn't look like much even though the body was straight and that little car suprised a few big blocks back then. :yup:
