I am looking at the 17"x11" rear and 17"x9.5" ZR1 wheels
or the Z06 18"x10.5" front and rear wheels

will I have any issues putting these on a 99' Formula? the car is lowered with Koni dual adjustables and Eibach Springs

I kind of fear the Z06 is too wide in the front and not sure about the ZR1s in the rear

I believe those are the correct sizes
I do not have the catalog in front of me

also what can I replace the corvetter center caps with? and any suggestions for tires (be some what reasonable, I tend to burn them up in a year or so)

why not 17x11s on all 4 ;)
since you are considering 18x10.5 on all 4.
the front is plug and play compared to the rear which needs some BFH and adjusting PHR.

ZR-1s. The Z06 wheels just emphasize our small-brake look.

I really was thinking 9.5 in front with either wheel

by the way, do you have any issues turning with 17"x11" "all the way around"

and what tires did you get?

are 315s required for 11" wide?

the front is plug and play compared to the rear which needs some BFH and adjusting PHR.

is this so the wheels do not stick out? and if so, the adjustment is not as much for a firebirds as Camaros?

BFH?

Typically your year LS1 sits lower from the factory than say an SS.
You will see a lower factory ride with z28's as well.
I put a set of ICW 17x10's on all four corners of a 1996 camaro convertible RS with no issues at all.
The 17x11's may or may not need to clearance the rear but you can get a stopper clearance or yes hammer in the fender well a little.
You will not get them on the front unless maybe with a pancake tire, but the 17x9.5 will work in the front.
The Z06 18x9.5 for the front and 10.5 for the rear is optimum and fits on any F-Body with no issues or alterations.
The Z06 wheels are probably best as the always look good on any F-body and as a good investment you can take them with any time you switch F-Bodys.
I only like ZR-1's on F-Body's to 2000 because thats what the factory established.
10 spoke or Z06 on 2001 & 2002 is always genre correct.

I mean ZR-1's are meant for corvette ZR-1's .. personally I don't know how they became so popular even from SLP ..

and I would never put that crap on my car ..

they are just wider than normal A mold wheels
what makes them so different than SS wheels?

do you mean ZR 1 wheels? or SLP parts?

I wrote a lengthy response but it didn't take because the program stopped responding. I've noticed this happens quite a bit here on the forum and half the time it says the server is to busy. Kind of sucks.

You could order ZR1 wheels as a Y2Y option an any SS, including 2000 and up.

It depends on the offset. If he goes OEM yeah he'll have some rubbing issues in the rear(wow that sounds bad lol) but the repro's come in offsets that are fbody friendly :)

What makes you think they won't fit in the front... there is way more space in front than in the rear... some people have 17x12 and even 17x13s in the front.
check in my signature... you'll see pictures of 17x11 in the front even racing the car... so they do fit very well in front as well.

Help!!! I have a non-WS6 2000 T/A which came with 16" chrome wheels stock. I like the look of the chrome Z06 wheels which would stand out nicely against the dark blue color of my car. However, I can only find 17"+ Z06-style wheels (repro or otherwise)!! What 17" wheel/tire could I use that won't need a speedo recalibration or cause clearance problems? I have a stock suspension, the only mods so far are Bilstein 1LE shocks and a STB. (I need to know the offsets & tire sizes too!) Thanks!!!!

I assume you have 245/50/16's now. You can run 40/17's and you won't need to recalibrate the speedo. It'll be less than a MPH off.

[B]C6 ZO6 WHEELS!!

I have seen them on E-Bay, if I hadn't gotten a great deal on some chrome 10 spokes I was really thinking about them.
